Federal Judge blocks Oklahoma constitutional amendment banning judges from using Sharia Law

Well that sure didn't take long. Less than a week after Oklahoma voters overwhelmingly (70-30) passed a ban on judges using Sharia or international law in making decisions, a single federal aristocrat in a black robe gave the amendment a thumbs down. The suit was brought by a CAIR member. CAIR is a terrorist enabling organization. As Red State pointed out back in March: FBI Reaffirms CAIR’s Terrorist Ties. Said organization was tagged as an unindicted co-conspirator in raising money to fund Hamas terrorism. The day after the November 2nd election, I posted this: Oklahoma Voters Ban Judges From Using Islamic Law, International Law. The federal judge:
From the AP via Yahoo! News: Court order blocks Okla. amendment on Islamic law

A federal judge issued a temporary restraining order Monday to block a new amendment to the Oklahoma Constitution that would prohibit state courts from considering international or Islamic law when deciding cases.

U.S. District Judge Vicki Miles-LaGrange handed down the order after an Oklahoma man filed a lawsuit claiming the amendment stigmatized his religion and would invalidate his will, which he said is partially based on Islamic Law, also known as Sharia Law.
"My constitutional rights are being violated through the condemnation of my faith," said Muneer Awad, executive director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations in Oklahoma. "Islam was the target of this amendment. This amendment does not have a secular purpose."

...Among other things, Awad's lawsuit alleges the measure transforms Oklahoma's Constitution into "an enduring condemnation" of Islam by singling it out and barring courts from referring to Islamic law. It also alleges it violates the First Amendment's prohibition against laws regarding the establishment of religion.

Legal experts also have questioned the measure. Joseph Thai, a professor at the University of Oklahoma's College of Law, said the ballot measure is "an answer in search of a problem" and that there is no danger of international law or Sharia law overtaking the American legal system.
Oh really. How about a New Jersey Judge ruling that a Muslim man's right to rape is a religious freedom? And Koran burner Derek Fenton was fired from his union job at NJ Transit?  And how about that idiot pastor in Florida that threatened to burn Korans? He's being forced into bankruptcy: City of Gainesville FL plans to bill idiot pastor $180,000+ for talking about burning Koran. Minnesota is on its way to becoming fully Sharia-compliant:
A view of the slippery slope can be seen across the pond where in Britain, it is now a hate crime to even WATCH the Koran getting burned. And Muslim police officers don't have to protect Jews. I'm sure there were academics in the UK that said those things could never happen.
